A fully owned subsidiary of a food and beverage MNC and market leader. Headquartered in Singapore, the division operates in c. 15 countries, has 50+ plants and employs more than 30,000 employees.
The subsidiary has its own HR team structure – both within HQ in Singapore as well as the in-country HR teams. However, there is no specialist executive hiring team focusing on
senior hires, which require a “high touch” service.
In the past senior executive hiring was managed centrally managed by the parent company’s Executive Talent Acquisition team in North America. However, since the subsidiary’s HQ moved to Asia, this has proved more challenging.
Consequently, Ren Advisory was retained to help with senior executive out-reach and assessments.
Ren Advisory was tasked with sourcing, assessing and helping close four senior roles for the subsidiary. Following a robust talent search, Ren Advisory was able to provide long lists of candidates for each of the four senior roles. For some of these roles, Ren Advisory also carried out a thorough assessment of internal candidates – thereby providing benchmarks v/s external candidates.
All four senior roles were closed within four months of Ren Advisory being retained. Additionally, as a result of Ren Advisory’s cost-effective solution, the cost per hire was significantly lower than using traditional headhunters and resulted in savings of 35-40% of typical headhunting fees.
